Licklider and Welden Clark published the first paper on the
internet concept. It was called "On-Line Man Computer
Communication". Licklider was a very interesting person,
and he is one of the driving forces creating the early
internet. He was educated in engineering and physiological
psychology. This strange mixture gave him a very unusual
perspective which is very uncommon with engineers.
