which began as follows: "Large-scale U.S. infrastructure
disruptions are not expected from 'Y2K failures' during the Y2K
transition period. However we are prepared for a possible
increase in real or reported criminal cyber activity (such as
hacking and spreading computer viruses), considering the
heightened awareness of and media focus on malicious activity
during the Y2K period."
